I am posting this photo because it is my favourite from my holiday in Achill last summer. It looks like some tropical island from a holiday brochure.

Card Making Classes

I hold a card making class every Thursday evening in Rathcoole. This is a pretty informal class and is great craic, sometimes the jokes get in the way of the lessons, and I have to crack the whip to get a certain person to behave, you know who you are, next week we are doing a cricut class and as there are a lot of powerpoints available everyone is welcome to bring their own cricut along. Those who don't own cricut machines will have plenty of premade cricut toppers, cardstock and embellishments to make cards with on the night and lots of toppers to take home.

If there is a card making technique you would like to learn and have a few people who would like to join you, please contact me and I can arrange classes for any evening. The only technique I don't do yet is parchement cards.

Thursday 19th February Cricut
Thursday 26th February Alcahol Inks
Thursday 5th March Flowersoft.
Thursday 12th March Wedding Invitations (rsvp's, thank you's favour boxes etc.)

Classes are €16.00 which includes all products used in class and kits to take home.
Classes start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.30pm Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied

Valentine card

I made this card at my card making class last Thursday, while the girls in the class used some beautiful pastel card, fairies and butterflies I took the opportunity to use my class to complete a commision for a valentines card. The card idea came from Yvonne Tune of Kilcoole Craft Club, I made last years Mothers day card with this method and it is still one of Mum's favourites. I will post a photo of this card on monday. TFl.

Some recent makes

Hello

I started this blog last year but never really got the hang of things, so I have spent a bit of time lately trying to figure things out. I think I have the basics down so am now ready to launch. Thank you for looking in.
